Text Box: April 1, 2015 Text Box: It seems like only yesterday when my niece Kim’s three sons were little. Always clinging to me where ever I went. Fighting over who gets to sit in the front seat whenever we did our local trips. Still, to this day when I visit them in Florida they adjust their busy work and school schedules to make sure we had maximum time together. Tommy, Anthony and Joey DeDona were very active brothers. The top picture was of a weekend trip to my brother Tom and sister-in-law Fran’s Vermont retreat. We had a ball. We had gotten snowed in with about five foot of snow, and all that was around to shovel us out was this tiny little kids shovel that I was forced to use to rescue the family. The boys are pretty much grown. Tommy the oldest has recently graduated college. Anthony is in college and Joey will be going to college by the end of the summer. We are still in contact with each other practically every day since their move to Florida ten years ago. And, on occasion we do a lot of video calling. Mom gets all excited that she’s able to see and talk to someone at the same time. My next trip to see this crew is coming up on May 29th. That’s when my great nephew Joey graduates high school. He’s graduating at the top of his class which awarded him a full scholarship to college. If I would have bet that Joey would have been the brains of the outfit, I would have lost a lot of money. Can’t wait until May.
